MCP cooperates with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources on implementation of the CMEMP (Coastal and Marine Ecosystem Management Plan) and hosts and facilitates DENR staff training in scuba diving, monitoring methodology and statistical analysis.

The Municipality of Zamboanguita. MCP operates under the auspices of the LGU of Zamboanguita, and lends manpower, consultancy, practical and technical assistance to the Bantay Dagat, People’s Organisations and the local government units.

The City of Bais In partnership with the DENR, and LGU of Bais MCP converts abandoned fishponds into mangroves and lends manpower, consultancy, practical and technical capacity building to the Bantay Dagat, and the local government monitoring unit.

Rufford Foundation The Rufford Foundation support MCP in creating alternate livelihood and mangrove conservation projects in South East Negros.

PADI logo

PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) was established in 1966, and is today the largest scuba training and certification agency worldwide offering a wealth of diving courses, many of which are freely available for our volunteers in marine conservation.

Project Aware

Project AWARE was founded in 1989 and is a non-profit organisation and movement initiated by PADI, who still to this day support the organisation. Marine Conservation Philippines encourage divers to contribute to Project AWARE, and enter some of effort into the collaborative database of conservation activities hosted by Project AWARE.
