Turtle eggs hatching on Apo Island

If you are in the Philippines this summer and are fascinated with sea turtles, you now have a unique chance to watch turtle eggs hatch and to see the mad scramble for the sea. According to the bantay dagat, (lit. watchers of the sea) the sea rangers of Apo island, a batch of 80-120 turtle eggs are expected to hatch July 25-26.
